Rachelle (my roommate) and I went to a Dodgers vs. Giants game on Tuesday night ... so fun!! We each took a boy with us, so it was like a double date, except it wasn't a double date. We had a blast, and she even said that she didn't really care that the Giants lost because we all had so much fun. I had my very first Dodger Dog, the super all beef one. It was really delicious, and kind of made me wonder why I hadn't had one before! Kyle and Rachelle wanted the Giants to win, and Cameron and I wanted the Dodgers to win, so our support was evenly spread between the two teams, and as always, Cameron and I made the right choice. It was wonderful to see the final score read 3-2 in favor of the Dodgers. :) :) :)
I had to write a paper tonight and email it to my professor by midnight. The internet in my room wasn't working, so I went to the library. I got to the library around 930, and at about 935 this pop up said that the computer would be shutting down in 10 minutes, so I had 10 minutes to finish writing. The paper only needed to be about 700 words, so I knew I could do it, and I did. I finished writing it, I saved it, I typed in my professors name in the email, added the paper, and literally RIGHT before I clicked SEND, the computer shut down. I was MAD. I went back to my building and Lindsey let me borrow her computer, and I was able to get it done, but it wasn't as good as the one I had written in the library that I will
never see again.Tomorrow night I get to go see the Continentals perform in Burbank. I'm really excited. I'm going with Kelli and Melissa. I saw Kelli very recently, but Melissa (who toured on my tour back in 2004!) I haven't seen since fall of '04! I am really looking forward to it. I love going to concerts and seeing people I know, but it makes me miss touring. I wonder if I'll ever do that again?
Rachelle and I are eagerly awaiting the May issue of The Point, because that is the magazine that judged our room for the "most creative dorm room on campus"! We both want to find out NOW... but we have to wait another month.... I need to be patient. The pictures that I stuck up right above my head keep on falling down, but I don't want to take them down. I should probably go and get more poster putty to hold them up.
Looking forward to hopefully coming home over missions conference, which starts april 16th. If I do come home I will be there on the 17th and come back down here on the 20th. I found a girl at school who wants to go up to SLO that same time, and she said she would help with gas, so if that works out it would be very helpful! Just waiting to find out about work.
Jacey moved to Ohio on Wednesday. It's weird that we're both so far away from each other now. I don't know when I'll see her next. I was able to see her during spring break, which was really really fun. We went shopping and to In N Out and to BJs and had a lot of good catching up time. I love that girl.
